Tanasia Bell, RN

Patina Nurse Champion

Tan Bell is a Nurse Champion at Patina, where she meets with patients in their homes and works with their Patina primary care practitioner (PCP) and Patina Health Champion to ensure they get the care they need to thrive and reach their health goals.

A nurse for more than ten years with a bachelor's degree in nursing from North Carolina AT&T State University, Tan is well-prepared to provide exceptional care for her patients. She’s also a certified CPR and First Aid instructor with the American Red Cross.

Before joining Patina, Tan worked at the Johns Hopkins Hospital Department of Surgery in Baltimore, MD, working closely with older patients. Earlier in her nursing career, she worked as a home health nurse as well as a nurse in a long-term care facility. Her decision to join Patina stems from her desire to be at the forefront of providing long-overdue and much-needed attention and support for older adults, whom she feels are often overlooked and forgotten in the healthcare system.

During her spare time, Tan loves watching movies or binge-watching her favorite TV shows, creating fun memories with her 7-year-old son, and unwinding on Caribbean vacations. She also enjoys eating at Steak 38 Restaurant and cheering on the Charlotte FC soccer team.

TAN’S INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE:

“Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need.” - Matthew 5:3.
