Chris Connell

Patina Health Champion

Chris Connell is a Health Champion at Patina, where he is a “go-to” resource for patients – helping to ensure they are seen and heard at every step of their healthcare journey, providing support for care navigation and coordination, and advocating for them as needed. With a deep appreciation for working with older adults, Chris enjoys cheering on patients when they achieve their goals and offering resources to help them overcome any barriers to care they may face. A lot of his time is spent helping patients get the care they need – scheduling appointments, addressing insurance coverage questions, handling legwork, securing needed resources, answering questions, and much more. In short, he’s here for patients to get the care they deserve.

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in health services and a master’s degree in rehabilitation services from Arcadia University, Chris has a strong background in healthcare. He previously worked in pharmacy services for UPMC Health Plan and as a rehabilitation aide at various outpatient rehabilitation clinics. Chris cites the company’s clear vision for rethinking how care is delivered to better serve adults 65+ in a more accessible and personalized manner as what drew him to Patina.

Chris resides in Montgomeryville, PA, where he lives with his parents. He loves to roller skate, practice yoga, read, crochet, and attend concerts – especially at his favorite venue, the Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, where he enjoys taking in a beautiful view of the city skyline from the lawn while listening to great music.
